Lead design of the KitchenDaily site from concept to execution. Worked with product, editorial and UI teams to define the KitchenDaily user experience to meet the needs of a busy mom. Created the initial visual design and oversaw a team of designers executing on the final look and feel. Other contributions to site design included competitive analysis, creating personas, sketching concepts, facilitating brainstorming sessions between team members and site feature enhancements.

AOL Living: Morning Rush

Role: Art Direction

Morning Rush let’s you catch up on top morning show moments. Created initial visual concepts to reflect the energy of the morning and overall friendly feel to appeal to a wide audience. Worked with multiple designers to create various design solutions and then oversaw final visual design and type treatment.

These are the mood boards I created for the Holidays feature package on AOL Living. I worked with multiple designers to explore the different design directions. The business chose the wintery blue direction.


Moviefone Film Fixation

‘Film Fixation’ is a feature that highlights Moviefone’s movie obsession of the week. Created initial design concepts, logo and once a direction was chosen, over-saw design of the final experience.

Moviefone Moviegoer Awards ’06

Role: Art Direction, Visual Design, User Interface Design
At the end of of year, Moviefone lets their users vote on their favorite films of the year. For the 2006 awards, I worked with the Moviefone editorial team to create a compelling visual and interactive experience that spoke to the joy of movie-going. I worked on everything from look and feel, to branding and UI for the experience. Once the look and feel was established, I managed various designers to design other pages and production work. There were 3 phases to the project — nominations, voting and winners.
