Ornamento is side project where I use my iPhone to photograph the jewelry I wear. It’s an exercise in creativity to compose similar objects on a regular basis. The images are accompanied by an anecdote related to where the piece was found or who it once belonged to.

I photographed my friend Yuli Ziv, editor-in-chief of MyItThings.com and co-founder of the Style Coalition for an article in The NY Observer on the state of fashion blogging.

My thesis project at RISD was a series of digital photo colleges commenting on the effects of American Consumerism on other cultures and itself. The juxtaposition of disparate elements created improbable, yet believable scenarios. These images were created in between 1997-1999 while I was a student.
This is an ongoing project exploring the abstract and tactile.
